Start at the very beginning...

Welcome! I've been an avid blog reader for quite a while and have always toyed with the thought of starting my own, but could never quite find the time to get it going. Tonight my husband, J, and I are just relaxing at home (or, more accurately, he's monopolizing the TV via his beloved PS3 and I'm blog stalking), so I figured there's no better time! J and I have been married for just about 9 months (how has it already been that long?!), and we're about to leave our friends and family in the Northwest to embark on a new adventure in Austin, Texas-- J will be enrolling in business school and I'll be supporting our little family of two with a new job (hopefully) in my current field of marketing and advertising. I'm a little anxious about this transition, but I'm also very excited. As a born and bred West Coaster, I'm not exactly sure what to expect from Texas, but I do know that we're bound to have some highs, some lows, and all kinds of crazy adventures... and I'm looking forward to chronicling them all here!
